Cries

Today, I, along with representatives from our investigations, legal, and aftercare departments, sat through hours of interviews with potential clients and their mothers. As they recounted the horrifying rapes they had suffered, I was overwhelmed by their inexpressible grief, agony, fear, and hopelessness.

When you encounter injustice face to face, it changes everything.

And I have only heard their stories once.

But then, I remembered that God has heard and still hears their cries every day and night.

And He will give them justice.

And when you encounter His justice face to face... my God, it changes everything.

"And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly." - Jesus

  2. Amen, Alan.

Even though you may, at times, feel helpless in the face of such injustice -- as if you could never do enough to aid these people -- know that you are impacting people and you are helping them through what you are doing. Thank you for your service. Keep on keeping on!
